What is The Edge?

Each Sunday night at 5:30, a diverse family of people at different stages in their walk with Christ gather in fellowship and prepare their hearts for the amazing service to start at 6:00.

Soon a joyful noise springs forth from gifted musicians offering praise to God. With hands raised - with hands clapping - with hands settled firmly in their pockets, each member of this family offers their own sacrifice of praise to the audience of One.

The Edge is a community of people lifting up their hearts in worship as they seek God's wisdom for today's world. The music rocks straight into the hearts of those gathered to worship, learn, and share. Videos and discussion look at current issues affecting people of faith, so that those who share a fellowship through the Spirit of God might discern for themselves how they are called to respond, create, and transform.

The Edge provides an opportunity to view topics from a variety of perspectives: Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience. We know that there will be differences of opinion, as when any large family addresses difficult issues. Yet, this is a time when every person seeking to live faithfully in relationship to God will be heard, respected, and treated with the dignity given to them through Christ's grace.

It is a time of sharing food and fellowship, so that we become not just a group of individual learners, but a unified community in covenant relationship.
